A small menu that appears when you click on the right-hand button of a mouse. It is often used to select formatting or the properties of an object. Windows 95 makes good use of the right-click menu. If you right-click over a blank part of the Desktop you can set the properties of the Desktop or create a new shortcut. If you right-click over a file or folder you can change its properties.
